Express FC interim coach James Odoch claims his side planned for their win against SC Villa in the Kampala Derby.

The Red Eagles earned sweet revenge for their recent cup loss to arch rivals S.C Villa after their 2-1 league win away on Saturday evening at the FUFA technical center in Njeru.

Amir Kakomo’s own goal and forward Erick Kambale got the goals for the Red Eagles while Isaac Ogwang got the consolation.

According to Odoch, they planned for the win and the win left him a very happy man.

“I am very happy for this win because we’d planned for it, we knew after playing Villa twice that we saw how they play and we needed to have different tactics which we did so we shall go back and plan for our next game against Wakiso Giants FC and see that we win it as well,” Odoch said after the game.

The win took Express FC to 39 points after 26 games played in the league while SC Villa is now 12th with 25 points.
