FUFA Women Super League table leaders UCU Lady Cardinals shared spoils with newbies Tooro Queens in a 1-all draw at Buhinga Stadium in Fort-Portal.

The fixture was held on Sunday 27th February 2022.

Ruth Nyakato (Tooro Queens) and Sandra Kisakye of UCU Lady Cardinals scored for either sides in the game.

Nyakato’s late strike cancelled Sandra Kisakye’s goal as the host forced a draw.

The draw became the 4th in four games for the tricky “Country Queens” to accumulate 4 points in as many opening fixtures.

Despite loosing their 100% run, the Cardinals maintained their unbeaten start in the league, collecting ten points from three wins and a draw.

This was the first time for UCU Lady Cardinals to concede a goal, having scored eight this season.

A point secured, took UCU Lady Cardinals to the table summit past She Corporate FC on goals advantage, both having 10 points.

She Corporate beat reigning Champions Lady Doves 2-1 over the weekend.

Ronah Nantege and midfielder Phiona Nabumba scored for the Sharks as forward Fazila Ikwaput netted for the Believers.
