Youngster Najib Yiga scored a first half brace as leaders Vipers came from behind to overcome BUL FC in a League game at the Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.

Walter Ochora had earlier headed the hosts in front but Yiga’s double completed the Venoms comeback before Yunus Ssentamu sealed the win.

Despite being on the receiving end in opening minutes, Ochora broke the deadlock for BUL FC with the header from a corner in the 21st minute.

Three minutes later, Yiga equalised for Vipers with a shot outside the box.

Manzoki could have given Vipers the lead but he missed a seater after receiving from Karisa.

Yiga completed his brace in the 33th minute after a well worked move from Manzoki.

In the 89th minute, Ssentamu buried BUL’s hopes of an equaliser after he tapped in a beautiful delivery from substitute Denis Mwemezi who replaced Milton Karisa.

Vipers maintains their spot on top of the log with 36 points after 16 games while BUL FC drops to seventh with 26 points after 16 games.
