BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye was impressed by his side’s performance against URA FC despite a draw.

The Jinja based side scored an 85th minute equaliser to earn a point against the tax collectors after it looked like the hosts would walk away with all the three points.

“I am happy that we made a come back and earned a point. We could have won this game but we missed a lot of opportunities,” Alex Isabirye said after the game.

“We conceded those two goals out of our own mistakes, therefore, we are going to re organise to see that we get better results in our next game,” he added.

The tax collectors led 1-0 at the break thanks to Steven Mukwala’s early strike three minutes into the game.

They then added a second immediately after the the interval through Shafik Kagimu but the Eastern Giants responded henceforth with Musa Esenu slotting home in the 58th minute to reduce the deficit.

It looked like URA would hold on and claim the win but Joseph Ssemujju who was in his first game this season after taking up Ibrahim Nsimbe’s place on the hour mark stepped up and dispatched a penalty to level the game with five minutes left on the clock.

The result left BUL FC fourth placed on the log with 10 points while URA FC is now 12th with four points.
