As a way of revamping their coaching department, Wakiso Giants announced Robert Ssekweyama as a new addition to their coaching staff.

Ssekweyama will deputize head coach Alex Gitta who was elevated after the resignation of Douglas Bamweyana.

According to Gitta, Ssekweyama is a big acquisition who will bring experience to the team.

“He is such a dynamic and self-motivated coach who brings with him experience to the team,” Gitta said.

Previously, the former SC Villa fullback has coached at SC Villa, Express in assistant roles, Maroons and Terrazzo and Tiles among others.

Wakiso Giants is preparing for the first game after the international break on Friday against Tooro United.
