The Uganda Hippos goalkeeper Jack Komakech claims that he is ready for Vipers SC test after signing for the Kitende based side.

The young custodian agreed a contract until 2026, with the option for a renewal.

“I’m just extremely happy, extremely proud to be joining Vipers SC and finally have a team to feature for in the Uganda Premier League,” Komakech was quoted by viperssc.co.ug.

“Vipers SC is one of the biggest clubs in the country. It is a huge club with big ambitions and am looking forward to being part of the successful journey.”

“I know it is going to be a lot of hard work, but I am ready to do everything I can to get the most of my five years here and at the school as possible.”

Komakech, a product of Ascent Soccer Academy, joins the Venoms having been part of the Under 17 squad that featured for Uganda at the CAF U17 championship in Tanzania.

He joins as Bashir Ssekagya’s replacement who left them for greener pastures in this transfer window.
