As player exodus looms, longest serving SC Villa player of the current crop and the 2018/19 Jogoo captain Ambrose Kirya is finalizing a move to Rwandese top tier side Sunrise FC linking up with ex Villa gaffer Moses Basena and ex teammate Pius Wangi Mzee.

The 24yr old who joined SC Villa in 2015 from JMC HIPPOS had his contract with the 16 times Uganda Premier League expire last month and he’s expected to join the Rwandese club as a free Agent.

Basena is also courting another Jogoo defender Moses Kiggunddu as a player exodus continues from the side after Bashir Mutanda ,Ibrahim Kibumba and David Owori are expected to join Sam Simbwa’s URA FC to follow Samson Kirya who finalised talks with Wakiso Giants FC .

Uganda’s finest, SC Villa who finished 3rd on 46 points in 25 games is sunk in an ocean of administrative problems since Mandela’s departure in early 2000s.
