Eric Kambale and Charles Lwanga scored for Express and KCCA FC respectively as the two sides settled for a one all draw in the Kampala arduous derby tie held on Wednesday, 17th February 2021 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

Eric Kambale sent the Red Eagles into the lead at the end of the first stanza when he converted home from a Godfrey Lwesibawa free kick ball as the break realized a 1-0 score in favor of the host.

A Charles Lwang late equalizer for KCCA FC denied Express FC a chance to inflict KCCA FC to a 4th loss following her three previous defeats.

In the 88th minute, Lwanga scored an important goal for the visitors to stop their losing streak with a draw.
KCCA FC last won a league game on 11th December 2020 against Mbarara City FC. Since then, the Kasasiro boys have suffered three consecutive loses to SC Villa, URA FC and Bul FC, all games ending in a similar 2-1 score.

Express FC will decry missed scoring chances with Kambale, Lwesibawa, George Ssenkaaba and Frank Kalanda who put the would be scoring opportunities to waste.
The draw moved Express FC to 13 points and also maintained their unbeaten run this season, whilst KCCA FC moved to 10 points.
