Uganda’s growing appetite for celebrity boxing is set for another explosive chapter, as socialites Zahara Totto and Prima Kardashi prepare to settle their differences inside the ring.

The bout, sanctioned by the Uganda Boxing Federation, was confirmed following a heated press conference in which both personalities doubled down on their rivalry, turning a public fallout into a fully-fledged sporting spectacle.

Their feud traces back to last weekend’s Boxing Champions League fight night, where the two were involved in a tense scuffle on the sidelines—an incident that has since spiraled into one of the most talked-about celebrity clashes in recent memory.

Federation president Moses Muhangi framed the contest as part of a broader vision to channel celebrity disputes into structured competition.

He emphasized the need to shift confrontations from social media theatrics to regulated sporting platforms.

Zahara Totto, never one to shy away from confrontation, expressed confidence ahead of the bout, drawing parallels between her media persona and her readiness for combat.

“I am a fighter, and people know that. Since joining the media industry, I have always stood my ground. I’m here to show Prima what I can do,” she asserted.

Prima Kardashi, however, struck a composed yet pointed tone, insisting the fight will serve as a definitive response to her rival’s outspoken nature.

“I am here to silence Zahara Totto because she talks a lot. I’m looking forward to our fight,” she remarked.

The contest adds to a rising trend in Uganda’s entertainment-sport crossover scene, where celebrity boxing has increasingly captured public attention.

Previous bouts have seen singer Rickman register a knockout victory over Grenade, while socialite-linked contests—most notably involving Shakib, husband to Zari Hassan—have further fueled the phenomenon.

With tensions already at boiling point, the Totto–Prima clash promises not just punches, but a collision of personalities—where pride, reputation, and spectacle will be on the line.
