The 2026 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Girls’ Football Championship is set to take centre stage from 29th April to 9th May at Seroma Christian High School in Mukono, promising a highly competitive showcase of school football talent from across the country.
The official draw ceremony was conducted this afternoon at GNS Hotel, bringing together key stakeholders and graced by former school football stars who played a pivotal role in the proceedings.
Among those who facilitated the draws were Enoch Walusimbi, Sharon Kaidu, and Immaculate Natasha, lending both experience and prestige to the event.
Beyond the national title, the tournament will also serve as a qualifier for the 2026 Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Championship, scheduled for late August in Morogoro, Tanzania, raising the stakes for participating teams.
The competition features a robust pool of schools distributed across sixteen groups, each poised to battle for supremacy:
