SC Villa will look to shake off their 2-1 defeat to BUL and return to winning ways when they host struggling Mbarara City at Fufa stadium, Kadiba, on Wednesday evening.

The Jogoos will be favored to win, given Mbarara City’s troubled recent form, which includes a suspension of key players Henry Kitegenyi, Ibrahim Thembo, and Fahad Emuran.

Misi Diego Ssemugera’s return to the squad could boost Villa’s chances, alongside players like Hassan Mubiru, Frank Ssebuufu, and Aslam Ssemakula.

Villa holds an edge over Mbarara City in their past meetings, winning eight of 13 games.

Meanwhile, Kitara will host Express FC at Royal Park, Butema, in an afternoon kickoff.
