BUL FC has parted company with head coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko, following a string of five consecutive league defeats.

Kikomeko, who led the team to two FUFA Super 8 trophies in 2023 and 2024, was relieved of his duties alongside his assistants Simeon Masaba and Noah Babadi Kasule.

The decision comes after BUL FC’s poor run of form, which saw them lose to Kitara (1-0), Entebbe UPPC (2-0), KCCA FC (2-1), Vipers (3-1), and most recently, Police (3-1).

The Eastern Giants are currently 12th in the league table with 10 points from 11 games played.

Kikomeko, who was rewarded with a new two-year contract at the start of the season, leaves the club with immediate effect.

BUL FC has embarked on a search for a new head coach, aiming to revitalize their fortunes in the league.

The departure of Kikomeko marks a significant change for the club, which had enjoyed success under his leadership. However, with the team’s current form, it was clear that a change was needed.
