SC Villa will look to maintain their winning momentum when they host Calvary FC at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba on Wednesday, aiming to keep pace with table leaders KCCA.

The Jogoos, who throttled URA 3-0 in their last game, will be overwhelming favorites against the Midigo-based side, who have yet to pick maximum points in the premier league since joining the top flight.

The record champions will welcome back experienced winger Sula Matovu and left back Simon Kato Ssemayange from suspension, but will be without Geoffrey Lubangakene, who is serving a red card suspension, and Reagan Mpande and David Owori, who are on national team duty.

Villa’s victory over URA was their second win in a row, and they will look to make it three in a row against Calvary.

The Jogoos are currently fourth in the standings with 20 points, five points behind leaders KCCA, who edged Buhimba United Saints 1-0 on Tuesday night.

In other matches, Lugazi FC will host defending champions Vipers SC, while URA FC travel to Rwamwanja Stadium to face Mbarara City FC, and Express FC will visit Maroons FC at Luzira.
