The 23 year old ex-Kirinya Jinja SS ( Busoga United FC ), KCCA FC & Mbarara City(loan) custodian Ikara Thomas has reached terms with Startimes Uganda Premier League side Police Football Club subject to unveiling.

The agile Shot stopper began his soccer career with ‘BB’ SODA FC in 2009 before being lured to 4th tier side BLACKSMITH FC ,based in Jinja.

In 2015 while a student at Jinja SS ,Ikara joined Kirya Jinja SS till 2017 when 13 times Uganda Premier League winners KCCA FC lured him to their ranks though unfortunately failed to cement a starting slot in the Kasasiro side’s first Xl ,hence being loaned to Mbarara City in the 2019/20 season.

His was highly speculated to join URA FC ,but the ‘Tax collectors’ seemingly preferred Maroons FC Shot stopper Hannington Sebwalunyo.

At the cops ,he’s set to replace 1st choice goalie Davis Mutebi who has been reluctant to renew his contract with the 2006 League champs.
