St. Noa GFC is set to face Rines SS WFC at the Kabaka Kyabaagu Stadium in Wakiso on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League.

Head coach Tonny Mawejje is optimistic about his team’s chances, despite being aware of the challenges ahead.

Mawejje acknowledged that his team has been conceding too many goals in previous matches.

To address this issue, the coaching staff has been working with the players to rectify individual defensive errors.

“Our biggest challenge in the previous games was conceding a lot. We have been working to rectify a few individual defensive errors and we are set to go.

We need the three points and our focus tomorrow is to play and win in a St. Noa style,” said Mawejje.

A victory for St. Noa would be a significant boost, lifting them to 4th position on eight points.

Currently ranked 6th with five points from four matches, St. Noa has shown promise in their away matches, scoring at least one goal per game.

However, they have also conceded seven goals in their four outings.

Rines SS WFC, who are 9th on the table with three points, will be looking to secure their first win of the season.

They have drawn three times and lost once so far. The match promises to be an exciting encounter, with both teams seeking to make a statement.

Other Matches

In other matches this Sunday, Uganda Martyrs will visit Makerere, Kampala Queens will host Olila, and the match between St. Noa and Rines SS WFC will be a closely watched encounter.
