Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and She Corporate continued their impressive form in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League, securing victories on Matchday Five.

Despite the rainy conditions, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC defeated She Maroons 2-0, while She Corporate edged Lady Doves 2-1.

Kawempe’s Convincing Win

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC’s victory was sealed by captain Agnes Nabukenya, who netted twice from set pieces.

Nabukenya opened the scoring from the penalty spot before sealing the win with a stunning free kick, maintaining Kawempe’s unbeaten record.

The team’s fourth consecutive win is a testament to their growing strength in the league.

She Corporate’s Comeback Win

In Masindi, She Corporate came from behind to beat Lady Doves 2-1.

Resty Kobusobozi had given the hosts the lead, but Leticia Nakyeyune equalized before halftime with her first-ever league goal for the Sharks.

In-form striker Jesca Namanda scored the winner in the dying minutes, handing She Corporate all three points.

The result kept She Corporate at the top of the table with 13 points from five matches.

Goalless Draw in Mbale

In Mbale, Amus College and Asubo Ladies played out a goalless draw, extending Asubo’s unbeaten streak to three games.

The result means Asubo Ladies will be looking to build on their momentum in the upcoming matches.

Upcoming Fixtures

The league will continue on Sunday with Uganda Martyrs visiting Makerere, Kampala Queens hosting Olila, and St Noa traveling to Rines SS WFC.
