SC Villa unleashed a ruthless performance against Buhimba United Saints, securing a 3-0 victory at the Royal Park Butema on Friday evening.

The win marked a significant turnaround for SC Villa, who had been struggling to find their footing in the league.

Buhimba United Saints, who had started the season on a high note with three consecutive wins, were left reeling after their 3-0 thrashing at the hands of SC Villa.

This defeat follows a similar 3-0 loss to BUL FC in their previous outing, leaving them in a spot of bother.

Reagan Mpande was the star of the show for SC Villa, netting a brace within the first half.

He opened the scoring in the second minute with a stunning lob over the onrushing goalkeeper Derrick Ayebale.

Mpande then added his second goal in the second half, putting the icing on the cake after being set up by Ibrahim Kasinde.

Aslam Ssemakula also chipped in with a goal, doubling SC Villa’s lead in the 16th minute.

Ssemakula’s low drive from a corner kick left the Buhimba goalkeeper with no chance, and the scoreline remained 2-0 at halftime.

The 3-0 win takes SC Villa to sixth place on seven points, while Buhimba United Saints drop to third place on nine points.

Despite their high position in the table, Buhimba will be disappointed with their performance against SC Villa, and they will need to regroup quickly to bounce back from these back-to-back defeats.
