Kampala University secured a commanding 4-0 victory over University of Kisubi in the Pepsi University Football League at Yes Center Arena, Nsambya.

The hosts dominated the match from the onset, taking the lead in the seventh minute.

Glibert Wannume’s finish from Abbey Mulamba’s delivery set the tone for the rest of the match.

Kevin Azabo doubled the lead six minutes later, capitalizing on Wannume’s setup from the right flank.

University of Kisubi struggled to find their footing, and the hosts went into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Despite a penalty opportunity in the 50th minute, University of Kisubi’s woes continued when Vincent Mulondo’s penalty kick sailed wide of the target.

However, the hosts sealed their victory with two more goals: Benjamin Nsubuga’s header from Mulamba’s corner kick in the 60th minute and Brian Miyingo’s finish in the final minute.

The win propels Kampala University to the top of the group, showcasing their impressive form and dominance on the pitch.

University of Kisubi, on the other hand, will need to regroup and reassess their strategy to bounce back from this heavy defeat.
