The 13th edition of the Pepsi University Football League (UFL) is finally here, and the excitement is palpable!

Tomorrow, the newly built Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo will host a double-header, marking the start of the tournament.

To encourage massive student turnout, entrance will be free for all students.

The day’s action begins at 3:00 PM with a highly anticipated match between two-time champions Kampala University and defending champions Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi (UMU).

Later, at 5:00 PM, 2018 champions Kyambogo University will take on ISBAT University in another thrilling contest.

This year’s edition features a new format, where teams will meet only once in the group stages, either home or away.

The group winners will automatically qualify for the quarterfinals, alongside the three best runners-up across all groups.

The 2025 season also welcomes four debutants: Mountain of the Moon University, Censor University, Soroti University, and Lira University, adding fresh excitement to the competition.

– ISBAT University vs Kyambogo University: Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo – 5:00 PM (Group C)

– University of Kisubi vs Mountain of the Moon University: Entebbe – 3:00 PM (Group A)
– Kampala International University vs Mbarara University of Science and Technology: Nsambya – 3:00 PM (Group A)
– YMCA vs Nkumba University: Buwambo – 3:00 PM (Group C)
