The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced the call-up of five St. Noa GFC players to the 32-man squad for the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team, the Queen Cranes, ahead of their crucial FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier matches against Namibia.

Captain Barbra Anomo, goalkeeper Lilian Nakirya, Patricia Nayiga, Imelda Kasemire, and forward Kabene Sylvia are among the talented players summoned to represent Uganda in the doubleheader scheduled for September 19th and 22nd, 2025.

Under the head coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes, the Queen Cranes will gather at FUFA Hotel, Kisasi, to begin their preparations for the high-stakes encounters.

The team boasts a mix of school-based talents and players from top-tier Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League teams, promising a dynamic and competitive camp environment.

With the continent’s best in mind, the Queen Cranes aim to make a positive stride towards qualifying for the prestigious global tournament.

The outcome of the two-legged qualifier will determine Uganda’s advancement to the next round, with the aggregate winner emerging victorious.
