The draw meant Guinea finished their Group C campaign with four points from four matches, ending their chances of progressing to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, Algeria preserved their unbeaten record and moved to five points, keeping their hopes of advancing alive.

Group leaders Uganda have six points, while Algeria and South Africa, who are playing Niger, have five and four points, respectively.

The CHAN 2024 tournament is heating up, with teams battling it out for a spot in the quarterfinals.

Will Algeria’s momentum carry them through, or will Uganda and other teams stand in their way? The drama unfolds as the tournament progresses.
