Busiro Saza football team has announced the appointment of Denis Kiyimba ‘Mulangira’ as their head coach for the upcoming 2025 Masaza Cup tournament.

This move marks a new chapter for the team as they seek to bounce back from a disappointing group stage exit in the 2024 edition.

Kiyimba brings a wealth of experience to the role, holding a CAF C coaching license and having worked with veteran coach Richard Makumbi at Mbarara City and Nyamityobora.

His familiarity with the Masaza Cup dynamics is also notable, having previously managed Buwekula Saza and guiding them to Luwangula Cup glory in 2016.

The technical team assembled to support Kiyimba includes:

– First Assistant Coach: Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, a former Uganda Cranes midfielder

– Second Assistant Coach: Kimuli Robert

– Trainer: Lukyamuzi Richard

– Goalkeeping Coach: Bukenya Grace

– Team Doctor: Dr. Batenda Ramadhan

With a well-rounded and strategically structured technical team in place, Busiro Ssaza aims to clinch their second Masaza Cup trophy.

The team faces significant challenges, but with tactical discipline and consistent performance, they are determined to restore the county’s pride after their 2024 campaign fell short.

The appointment of Kiyimba and his team signals a fresh start for Busiro Saza, and fans are eagerly anticipating the 2025 Masaza Cup tournament.

Will the team be able to overcome their challenges and emerge victorious? Only time will tell.
