2025 UMEA Solidarity Games boys football tournament reaches round of 16

The 2025 UMEA Solidarity Games boys football tournament has progressed to the round of 16 stage, following a successful completion of the group stage games.

Defending champions Masaka SS will face Abu Aisha, having topped Group A with 9 points from three wins.

 

Abu Aisha finished second in their group on goal difference, tied on 8 points with Bulo Parents, who led Group C.

Kibuli SS, who topped Group D unbeaten with 12 points, will take on Bukoyo SS, who finished second in Group C.

Hosts Namagabi SS will face Kasana Vocational, who led Group H, having finished second in Group G on goal difference advantage over Kyantamba.

Nkoma SS, who topped Group G, will battle 2023 champions Kawempe Muslim, who ranked second in Group H with 5 points.

Kyaddondo SS and Sseke SS will await the result of the pending tie between Kawanda SS and Wamatovu to determine their opponents in the round of 16.

The round of 16 matches will take place tomorrow morning, followed by the quarterfinals in the afternoon. The semifinals and final will be played on Monday, April 21st.
