The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League and Elite League Monthly Awards for February were presented at a ceremony held at Twed Plaza, the main offices of league sponsors Finance Trust Bank, on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

The event marked a significant milestone with the introduction of the inaugural journalist’s category award.

In the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League, Kampala Queens’ head coach Asefa Firew Haile Gabreal was named the best coach, edging out Uganda Martyrs’ Edward Kasozi and Olila HS WFC’s Ronald Eletu. Asefa’s impressive record of guiding Kampala Queens to three victories in three games, without conceding a single goal, earned him the top spot.

Meanwhile, Olila HS WFC’s Dorcus Lwalisa claimed the best player award, beating out Kampala Queens’ forward Peace Muduwa and Uganda Martyrs’ captain Latifah Nakasi. Lwalisa’s impressive performance, scoring two goals in three games, secured her first-ever award.

In the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League, Asubo Ladies FC’s head coach Swaleh Kamya took home the best coach award, while goalkeeper Lillian Nakirya won the best player award.

Kamya guided Asubo to three victories in three games, while Nakirya kept two clean sheets in two games, showcasing her exceptional skills between the posts.
