Kawempe Muslim Ladies Football Club secured a thrilling 3-1 victory over Tooro Queens, catapulting them to the top of the Finance Trust Women Super League table.

This triumph sets the stage for a highly anticipated final first-round clash against Kampala Queens on December 28th, 2024.

The match got off to an electrifying start, with Samalie Nakacwa scoring a stunning goal in the 17th minute, courtesy of a perfectly timed cross.

Agnes Nabukenya doubled the lead just three minutes later, solidifying Kawempe Muslim’s grip on the game before halftime.

In the second half, Hadijjah Nandago sealed the victory with a clinical finish in the 60th minute, sending Kawempe Muslim into the Christmas break on a high note.

Tooro Queens managed to find the back of the net in the 78th minute, thanks to Sharon Nabbowa’s effort, but it was too little, too late.

The team’s final first-round encounter against Kampala Queens promises to be an exciting one.

Kawempe tops the table with 24 points, two above the second placed Kampala Queens.

Tooro Queens, on the other hand, concluded their first round with just 5 points from 11 games.
