The President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni solved Kitara FC’s transport problem when he donated them 40-Seater bus.

On wednesday 04th October 2020, Mrs. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye on behalf of the president handed over the 40-seater brand new bus to Kitara’s president Godfrey Bamwenda.

We thank the President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for fulfilling his pledge of donating to us a brand new bus” Kitara FC CEO told this website before adding

This is another milestone for the club as this bus will enable us reduce on the costs we were set to incur in the upcoming season

The newly promoted club to top flight league, that is Uganda Premier League, has been with no it’s own Bus.

Club Chairman, Bamwenda Godfrey also confirmed to this website that it’s true they have received a brand new Tata 40-seater Bus in registration number UBA/526T.

Kitara FC got promoted to Uganda Premier League after eliminating Kiboga Young/Mbale Heroes in just concluded playoffs held at Njeru.
