Match day six of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League kicks off this Saturday morning with Kampala Queens hosting newcomers Amus College WFC at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

In a tricky tie for the hosts, newly appointed head coach Asefa Haile Gabreal seeks a positive start to his tenure.

Last week, Kampala Queens parted ways with Charles Ayiekoh, and Asefa took charge on a two-year contract.

Asefa’s first task is to secure a win against Amus College, which would move Kampala Queens one point behind table leaders Kawempe Muslim, who play on Sunday.

Amus College, meanwhile, has enjoyed a strong debut season in the top flight, sitting third on the table.

A win would propel them to second place, two points ahead of Kampala Queens.

In their previous outings, Kampala Queens edged Rines SS WFC 2-0 under interim coach Sharon Kizza, while Amus College shared spoils with Kawempe Muslim in a 1-1 draw.

Kampala Queens will miss Elizabeth Nakigozi (knee injury), Shamusa Najjuma, Kamiyat Naigaga, and Catherine Nagadya (UACE final exams).

Matchday 6 Fixtures:

– Saturday:

– Kampala Queens vs Amus College – Lugogo

– Olila vs Tooro Queens – Soroti

– She Makerere vs Wakiso – Makerere Univ.

– She Maroons vs She Corporate FC – Luzira (DH)

– Sunday:

– Kawempe Muslim vs Lady Doves – Kawempe

– Uganda Martyrs vs Rines – Bugolobi
