As the Finance Trust Women Super League resumes on Saturday, the 12th October 2024, with match day three, Wakiso Hill, Uganda Martyrs, and She Corporate are eager to collect maximum points after losing their previous games.

Wakiso Hill WFC vs. Lady Doves – Kitende

The hosts are seeking their first victory this season after a 1-1 draw with Kampala Queens in the season opener and a 3-0 loss to Kawempe at home last weekend.

Last season, Wakiso Hill lost 2-0 to Lady Doves in Kitende, and this season, Lady Doves have collected four points out of a possible six.

Wakiso Hill will miss key player Teddy Namata Nantongo, who received a second yellow card in the Kawempe game.

Faridah Namirimu will play as center back, while Faith Namuddu is expected to play as left back.

She Corporate FC vs. Olila H/S WFC – Mubs Arena, Nakawa

The Sharks aim to bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Kampala Queens at their home in Nakawa.

They face a winless Olila H/S WFC, who lost their first game to Amus and had their second game with Rines SS WFC abandoned in the final bend of the game at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

She Corporate will rely on home advantage to secure their second victory this season.

However, they will miss skipper Margret Namirimu due to injury, and talented midfielder Leticia Nakyeyune is out preparing for her UCE final exams.

Kevin Nakacwa is expected to start in her place to boss the midfield.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC vs. Tooro Queens FC

The two winless sides meet at NEC Coffee Grounds in Bugolobi on this Saturday morning, both seeking for their first victory this season.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC have lost two opening games, while Tooro Queens have only one point from two games.

In their previous meeting, Tooro Queens won 1-0 thanks to Sumayah Komuntale’s first-half goal.

Coach Ssozi Edward faces pressure to collect maximum points, as a third consecutive loss could put his job in doubt.

Our reporters will cover the four games played on Saturday morning, with full-time reviews to follow.
