St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana have staged a riot against Rwanda’s champions GS Marie Reine, Musanze to register their second consecutive win at the ongoing Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) 21st edition.

Played on a cloudy evening at Amus College School in Bukedea on Tuesday 20th August 2024, St. Noa won 83-48 in a masterpiece of show.

The win is a perfect revenge to the Rwandan side who eliminated St. Noa Girls at the semi-final stage at last year’s edition in Huye, Rwanda.

This becomes St. Noa’s second win in two outings at this year’s championship held in Bukedea, Teso sub-region.

Maxine Modesta Anyango fetched the most points for St. Noa (17) as Bushira Namayanja registered 14.

The best rebounder was Zoe Atek with nine and 8 points on her name were recorded.

St. Noa Girls will face off with Kaya Tiwi of Kenya tomorrow, Wednesday 21st while GS Marie Reine, Musanze will play Kenya’s Kaya Tiwi the following day.

The games will continue tomorrow with four fixtures on the menu card.

The biggest fixture of the day will be an all Ugandan affair as St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende face off with Nabisunsa Girls School.

In the second game of the day, Orkweswa SS will entertain Buruburu Girls in another an all Kenyan affair.

Butere Girls Secondary School of Kenya will play Buddo Secondary School while St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana battle Kenya’s Kaya Tiwi.
