SMASK 49-67 St Noa.

St Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana beat St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende 67-49 in Wakiso girls basketball final for Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Fresh Dairy Games Qualifiers.

By a difference of 18 points after final score, St Noa were dominant from the throw off to the final whistle.

In first quarter, St. Noa won 23-7, 39-15 in the second, 59-39 and 67-49 after three and four respectively.

Resty Nanangwe was the star of the day posting 26 points and 9 rebounds.

Zoe Atek of St. Noa was the best rebounder picking 12 and scoring 9 points for St Noa girls.

On the losing side, Najjuuko Josephine and Mariam Namukwaya who tried to fuel up the comeback  scored 14 and 10 points respectively.

This becomes the  second Girls Basketball trophy for St Noa at Wakiso Regional schools Championship having won their first in 2019 beating Kitende by a difference of two points.

It being a qualifying Championship, St Noa Girls Kitende, Boddo SS and Mbogo Mixed secondary School shall represent Wakiso region at the forthcoming Fresh Diary Games that are set to take place in Ndejje Bombo later this Month.
