USSSA Fresh Diary Games: 28 Girls football teams drawn in four pools for  Wakiso region qualifiers

A record 28 Girls football teams are confirmed to take part in this year’s Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Fresh Dairy Games Qualifiers for Wakiso Region.

Pooled in four groups of seven teams, holders Taggy High School will face God Cares, Trinity College Nabingo, Standard High School, Rochdale, Comprehensive SS and Hope SS Bira in group A.

Wakiso Region all time (5 time winners) St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana were pooled alongside Makerere High, Light College Bulenga, Alliance SS, Kings Way, Nanziga Parents and Kakungulu High School in group D.

Wakiso Hills, Namugongo Vocational, Aiden College Ndejje, Kisubi Mapeera, London College Nansana and  Canan High School compose group B.

Whilst, Rinnes, Fairway, Wampewo Ntake, Buddo Christian, St George, Agro Link and St Charles Lwanga were pooled in group C.

Taggy High School are the defending champions. They beat St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana in last year’s final by 1-0 to win their second in a row.

Gloria Nassuuna converted from the mark to give Taggy a 1-0 final win.
