The fans of the most prestigious football tournament in Uganda, Masaza Cup have always had their ears on ground waiting for amazing news from Mengo whether 2020 edition will be held or not.

However, the promising news from Buganda Kingdom that keeps on coming to public indicate that the Masaza Cup of 2020 edition is to be held this year despite the disturbance of COVID-19 pandemic.

The Masaza Cup organising committee chairman Sulaiman Ssejjengo revealed that the committee has selected four stadia to be used in 2020 edition.

We have selected grounds basing on the SOPs from ministry of health, we have looked at there locations, and their affordability to host four teams, that have security and nearby hotels that can host the teams and standard hospitals that can handle high profile cases“. Sulaiman Ssejjengo speaks.

Since Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is the football governing body, the committee sent the four selected but undisclosed grounds for inspection and see whether they are fit to host games in this COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The grounds we selected were sent to FUFA for inspection, and immediately when FUFA is done with passing them, we shall meet with Counties’ leaders to pave way on how fixtures shall be drafted.”

Though, the stadia were not disclosed by the committee but Nim Media understands that grounds like Kasana Grounds-Luweero the home ground of Luweero United and 2019 Masaza Cup winners, Sazza Grounds- Mityana, Masaka Recreation Ground and Mehta Stadium Lugazi are the grounds forwarded to FUFA for inspection.

It should be noted that this year’s edition was to commence in June 2020 and His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II was to grace the opener.

I believe what you posted was actually very reasonable.
However, think on this, suppose you were to create a killer title?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added a
headline that makes people want more? I mean Masaza Cup
2020: Organizing Committee Forwards Four Undisclosed Stadia to FUFA for Inspection – Nimsport Uganda is a
little boring. You could look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they write post headlines to get people interested.
You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it might bring
    your posts a little livelier.
