Buddu beat hosts Kyadondo by 2-1 in the first leg of the Masaza Cup Quarter-final to earn advantage ahead of return leg

The epic tie was held at Hormisdallen playgrounds in Gayaza on Saturday evening, the 16th September 2023.

Pius Ssebulime and Meddie Kasule were on target for Buddu whilst Ramadan Mwanga netted for Kyadondo.

Pius Ssebulime and Meddie Kasule scored in the opening half, as goals came in the 20th and 33rd minute respectively.

Later into the game, Ramadan Mwanga  scored the host’s only goal to end the first leg with a disadvantage.

In the second quarter-final of the day, Buvuma and Mawokota shared spoils.

The two sides played for a goalless draw at the Magyo Grounds in Buvuma Island.

Day two of the quarter-final stage is on this Sunday 17th September. Five time record Champions Gomba will face off with two time winners Ssingo at Kabulasoke playgrounds.

The tie will be Bulemeezi up against Buwekula at Kosovo playground in Luweero, Kasana.
