Maroons FC in player exodus as five departures confirmed
Maroons FC have confirmed the departure of five players who were part of their last season’s squad. Maroons FC have confirmed the departure of five players who were part of their last season’s squad.

Goalkeeper Simon Tamale who managed 13 clean sheets last season already left Muhammad Senfuma’s coached side for Rayon Sports of Rwanda.

The others are Brian Nkuubi, Samson Andrew Kigozi and Brian Kayanja.

Kayanja’s loan agreement from KCCA FC expires and the Prison Warders are not willing to offer a permanent deal

The club appreciated the player’s efforts and contributions to the club and wished them succes in the next endeavours,

“We thank all the above players for their contributions to the club during their time with us, You will always be part of the Maroons family and we wish you all the best of health, happiness and success in your futures.”

Maroons finished last season sixth with 41 points.
