KCCA FC has announced 22BET as the Official Awards partner for the 2022/23 season.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at Route 256 in Lugogo, Kampala.

22BET is a betting company and one of the online betting leaders in Africa. The company will benefit from KCCA FC’s big and ever-increasing popularity in Uganda and the East African region.

22BET is also Paris Saint-Germain’s official online betting partner in Africa.

The partnership is for one year with an option of adding another year upon agreement between both parties KCCA FC and 22 Bet after completion of the initial year of the contract.

22BET will Award the man of the match with 100,000ugx and the player of the month with 200,000ugx and a plaque.

The awards will only be for the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup home and away games that KCCA FC wins.

An all-inclusive committee has been carefully chosen. They will be tasked to pick the four players from which fans will vote for their player of the match on the KCCA FC social media platforms.

Thereafter, KCCA FC will announce the winner after a one-day’s poll on its social media platforms.

While speaking at the event, the Director of 22BET Cedric Babu had this to say;

“Partnering with KCCA FC was not a hard decision to make. It is important that the general public understand that betting has to be done with in the ethical rules.”

“We as 22BET will continue investing in sport and we are happy that we are partnering with KCCA FC to help motivate players by rewarding them for their performance on the pitch,” Cedric Babu Director 22BET.

KCCA FC CEO Anisha Shahir Muhoozi also shared on the authenticity of choosing the best players from the games from which a man of the match will be voted by the fans through a poll.

“We have carefully chosen an all inclusive committee that will vote for the best four players from the games we have won. A day’s poll will then be created on the club’s digital platforms shortly after the game and fans will be able to vote for their Man of the match.”

“Upon completion of the duration of the poll, the 22BET Man of the Match shall then be announced and awarded by 22BET,” – KCCA FC CEO Anisha Shahir Muhoozi.

The partnership between KCCA FC and 22BET is for one year with an option of adding another year upon agreement between both parties KCCA FC and 22Bet after completion of the initial year of the contract.
