USSSA Ball Games II: St. Noa Girls – Zana, Buddo SS are 3X3 basketball Champions

St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana Zana and Buddo SS have won the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games II 3X3 Basketball.

St. Noa beat Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School 13-03 in the final to win this year’s girls trophy.

In the semi-finals, debutants St. Noa eliminated Seroma in the semi-finals winning 18-11 to set up a final clash with Nabisunsa.

Nabisunsa Girls defied all odds to beat St. Mary’s Kitende 12-10 in an epic semi-final tie to advance to final.

The two finalists were in the same group (D). With a 13-05 score, St. Noa won the Group D contest when the two sides met.

St. Mary’s Kitende beat Seroma in the third place classification match to finish 3rd in the tournament.

In the boys Buddo SS perfectly defended the trophy after their 12-10 win against a resilient Mbogo Mixed.

St.Noa, Nabisunsa, Kitende and Seroma will represent Uganda at the forthcoming FEASSSA Games set for next month at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School in Bukedea.
