Police FC defeated Kaaro Karungi by 2-0 at Kavumba as match day five of the FUFA Big League climaxed.

Substitute Herman Wasswa Nteza and Isaac Ogwang were on target each for the Kavumba based side.

It was in the eighth minute that Ogwang scored the opener for the former Uganda Premier League side.

Wasswa scored in the 92nd minute eight minutes after he had replaced Ogwang who scored the opener.

The victory sees Police FC maintain their place on top of the FUFA Big League table with 13 points from five games.

Mugerwa’s men will play Booma FC in their next game at Masindi Stadium on Monday 30th October.

Kaaro Karungi is seventh on the table of 15 teams with seven points from the same number of games.

They host second placed Blacks Power next on Sunday 29th at St George’s Arena.
